Starting Active Call Center for the First Time

The very first time you start Active Call Center you will be reminded that all other software that might use the modem should be closed while using Active Call Center. This includes: America Online, WinFax, and other modem based applications.

Active Call Center will test your modems and telephony hardware for compatibility the first time it is started. For accurate results, close all open programs when prompted to do so and do not interrupt the system until after test results are displayed.

After hardware test results are displayed, the program will start with a pre-loaded example and the help file will be opened to show a quick-start tutorial.

Start Active Call Center from the Windows taskbar by clicking Start ... Programs ... Active Call Center ... Active Call Center.
